Carpet manufacturers are becoming more stringent on their requirements for proper carpet maintenance.

How does this apply to you??
If you have purchased new carpeting in the last year and a half, you have probably purchased something with an extended stain warranty. Because of this, make sure you stay up on the professional cleaning frequencies. Most manufacturers require at least one professional cleaning every 12-18 months, with proof of invoice or receipt; otherwise your warranty may be void.
It has always been this way, but they are instituting their homeowner requirements at a stricter level.
So, have your carpet professionally cleaned every 6-18 months and keep your receipts, and you won’t have to worry about losing out on your warranty because of improper cleaning maintenance.
